Yesterday

Met up with Pris and Shawn yesterdae for a dinner which was long overdued. As usual, Pris was super late. That girl reached at 8.00pm instead of the appointed time, 7.15pm. We were supposed to meet at Orchard control station at 7.15pm but all 3 of us were late. Shawn and i so happened to take the same train, the same cabin and were standing at the opposite sides of the same cabin door. How creepy is dat man?

Anyway, though the both of us were late too, but at least we reached at 7.30pm. Thank god I had Shawn's company, even though he was damn irritating and embarrassing, if not i think i would have thrown a huge tantrum when Pris arrived. I was so hungry dat i could literally eat a cow by the time Pris arrived.

Dinner at Phin's at CineLeisure was not dat bad, although we waited a good 40 mins for our food. Customer service there was alright but the waiting time wasn't. Luckily i was feeling happy and was busy gossiping with Shawn and Pris dat i almost forgot i was super hungry so i managed to control my usually short temper and waited quite patiently for the food to come.

I must say the steak at Phin's is better than Jack's Place. Jack's Place was an utter disappointed when i went there with ahmah the other time. The steak was almost raw when i requested for medium rare and the serving was pathetic. At Phin's, they had the 'Ladiesi Cut', 'Gentlemen's Cut', and the 'Humongous Cut'. Alot of u must be thinking i must have ordered their Humongous Cut since i said i was so hungry i could eat a cow. Well, YOU ARE WRONG! I decided i would only go for the 'Ladies' Cut' since most of my appetite disappeared while waiting for Pris (You reading this Pris?) =)

After dinner, us being us, we went for dessert. Walked all the way from CineLeisure to Plaza Sing coz we couldn't decide where to go. Ended up at Gelare. Sat there from 10.30 to 11.30, until we were chased by 3 different waiters. Sickening. Again, we ended up with nowhere to go so dunno who suggested we go catch a movie. Thus, we ended up walking back to CineLeisure.

Caught War of the Worlds at 1.40am. The stupid show started onli at 2.00am ok! The show was.... rather stupid i think. Dun understand why so many people think the show was fantastic. I, for one, din particularly enjoy the show. It was not bad, but not good either.

The storyline was plain stupid, with aliens jealous about human beings ruling the earth thus they decided to 'crawl out' of the floor to extinguish humans and the planet earth. So wad if the aliens managed to wipe out Earth? Wad would they do here? They already have Mars, Pluto, Venus, Uranus and so on.. So wad for come and disturb earth? Crazy. There was this scene, where Tom Cruise and Dakota Fennings (wadever the spelling) were hiding at some underground basement then one anaconda-looking alien came 'patroling' the area. It was so stupid.

Then there's the other funny looking aliens which could turn human beings into ash by juz shining a flash of light at them. *faints* The story is so fake! Omg~ I can't believe i paid $9.50 to watch that show. I'd rather pay that saem amount of money to watch Initial D again. At least i get to see my Jie Lun in Initial D and at least i wun feel angry about the meaningless storyline.

And btw, i tink Tom Cruise is disgusting. Fat, short and stumpy. ArGh.
